Well...how do I start off the posting...I am feeling kinda gross all day...my tummy is a bit "squishy" and the thought of eating makes my tummy get squishier...but I thankfully haven't been ill...yeah!!! that was a total fear...I mean who likes to get sick? not me!!! Dad is calling every couple days to see how the Tic-Tac is feeling...I have to let you in on that story...we went to Mo0m and Das last week-end and Jeff was joking that he shouldn't have switched my pill for a Tic-Tac...and it has stuck...although he was referring to my belly as Charlie as well...yup, my dad is a bit "off"...but he's mine...
Any ways...on to other baby-related stuff...
Stuff is right...we have already started to collect the necessities from a family that Les used to have at her dayhome...and they were going to sell 7 diaper boxes of clothes and a bassenet and a swing for something really cheap at the comunity garage sale...until they found out I was expecting...so guess what we got last night...yuppers...it was a good thing Les gave me a heads-up to bring the van to work yesterday and not my little car...it wouldn't have fit...so I thing we are looking mainly for big items, like crib and change table and the stroller-car seat combo...we looked at a few nursery sets in Edmonton last week...and I'm kinda liking the cherry stained cribs that turn into headboard and footboard...the only6 down side is that the front doesn't slide...but Les had a good point...when they are big enough to move the mattress down lower, they are standing anyways...so no bending into the crib...and thats good cause I'm short...smile...
And on a totally unrelated subject...we just recieved wedding invites from our friend Darren and Melanie...if you have read any of the previous posts, they make up half of our fave local band Snap'd...it will be Sept 2...I think I'll reply that 2 and 1/2 guests will be attending...I'll be almost 7 months along by then and very obvious I'm thinking...so 2 weddings this year...fun...and I have no idea what I will wear (or even fit) by the time the roll around...
Have a good night everyone...It's supper time for me...
take care

Any wierd cravings yet. You know, it's the duty of the future Daddy to cater to your every whim and desire during the pregnancy. Little Ms. TicTac doesn't really sound like a Christmas name, how about Noella or Holly?
we have been throwing around a few names...
but Jeff really wants Lillian for the middle name for a girl after his Grandma Lillian who just turned 91 last week...we went to a birthday luncheon for her at her home...she is looking realy good...it was quite the turn-out...her 86 year old sister Katherine came out from Regina for the party...so I'm ok with Lillian...
If its a little boy, Jeff wants RObert in the middle name after his Dad Bob (Robert)...and he's pretty funny guy, so I'm ok with that to...
as for first names we are always considering for girl and boy...we have decided no gender neutral names...and no trendy places names...we like the traditional names like Jonathan and Samantha and names like that...
if you anyone has suggestions, let them rip...

Joe Mac
And almost anything works with Tic-Tac MacAulay....
Papa
I think Lillian is a lovely name, we don't have one in the family yet and it passes the test: "Can you picture a lady CEO with that name, without picturing her in a 3-piece pin-striped suit?" Somehow, though, I'm afraid the nickname "Tic-Tac" might stick.
But tic tac is so much easier to remember and we have got to be running out of names in this family by now
